Consul General
The Consul General is an accomplished, initiative-taking, patriotic, and seasoned diplomat of sterling character. He is a person of proven integrity, selfless with a rare sense of duty and commitment to public service. Over the course of his diplomatic career, the Consul-General has served in various capacities in Nigerian Missions around the world, including Seoul, South Korea; Pretoria, South Africa;and Accra, Ghana. He has also been opportune to serve at the African Union Commission and represented Nigeria in other multilateral fora, such as the United Nations Preparatory Session on the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The Consul General, who was born in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria, on 13th May 1966, is a lawyer by training and a graduate of the University of Jos, where he obtained both LL. B (Hons.) and LL.M (Hons.) degrees in Law, with specialization in international law and diplomacy, human rights, and climate advocacy. He is an avid reader, sports enthusiast, and charity worker. The Consul General is married and blessed with children.
